Hi all,
It's my daughters birthday coming up soon, and just thinking of things to get her.
She'll be 9 - and I found that a difficult age with my son too - they don't want toys, but don't covert anything grown up particularly.
Anyway, that's my prob.
She spends more time on my Samsung Galaxy phone than me, playing the various games, so I first thought I'd get her an IPOD touch, then could get her a dock for xmas maybe, or in the future. She'd also be able to get to the Apple Store and download the various games. But they are really expensive for what they are, and I know the apps cost money too.
However, I've seen on Amazon a lot of Android tablets, from £60 onwards.
I like Android, and know it well, so it seems like a good idea to get her one, but there are a lot.
I know what to look for - capacitive screens, Ginger Bread or ICS, etc, and decent spec 8 inch, 'no make' device,s are about £100.
But are they all awful things? I hate buying rubbish, but I don't want to spend loads on this.
Anyone got any recommendations?
