critical illness claiming

We have critical illness insurance and recently my wife had a hysterectomy for micro invasive disease. The subsequent histology revealed squamous cell carcinoma. I cannot find my policy booklet and the jargon confuses me anyway. I am wondering is this likely to be covered.

With some criticial illness cover, only some cancers are covered. These would be listed in your policy document but as you cant find it, I would ring the insurance company and speak to them plus the sooner you advise them, the better.
