Medical assesment experiences

Hello all,
So I have made a few posts in the past about this "situation". Basically last November, I self referred myself to my local medical driving assesment centre. The outcome was that I needed to drive a automatic with left foot acclerator. I already had my licence so phoned the DVLA who revoked my licence and issued me with a temporary one for retraining in said vehicle.
Anyway, my reassement was Wednesday. Their intial concerns had gone (road position and excessive slowing down) but one stupid mistake at a roundabout (car coming very fast from the right- and examiner had to break) and they told me they would have to put this in their report.
Now they kept telling me this wasn't a driving test- I had passed a driving test and this was more an assesment to make sure I had cover the problems with the road position and speed.
I was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situ- inital concerns met but worried that a mistake was going to cost them their driving licence??
Its horrible that I have got to wait and wait
they said to give them upto 4 weeks to hear from them.
The assesment centre reckon the outcome will be DL back with the codes for adaptions, or that i will get more time for extra retraining but Im really, really, REALLY worried that Wednesday was the last time I ever get behind the wheel
I would love to hear peoples experiences- good or bad.

Didn't that cause the revocation?0 -
Have you posted this in the Disability and Dosh forum? There's more likely to be people in there with this sort of experience.0
