Wright Profemur Hip Lawsuit Issues

Is it possible to have a hip implant in a young age? A friend of mine suffering from hip pain is planning to have one but I have read many sources lately about the failure rate of these implant devices. I've read an article from a certain Wright Profemur Z Hip Replacement Lawsuit site that these devices infects the affected part of the body. Is this a good idea or will this jeopardize my bestfriend's future? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Donna Cole
