Need a posh dress with sleeves that covers knees! Help!

Hi
I don't come onto this board much but I need some help.
I have been invited to Henley Royal Regatta this year, twice in fact. I went last year and DD fell over, split her lip and got blood on my only suitable dress, which is now ruined as I could not get the blood out
I'm going to the Stewards' Enclosure so the dress must fit their rather old-fashioned rules, mainly that the knees must be covered, so on the knee is not good enough, it must be below.
I also need sleeves to cover my tattoo, so not a small cap sleeve but a proper short sleeve, flutter sleeve or to the elbow is also fine.
I'm fairly funky, not after a classic dress, my other one was fairly classic in shape but had a great print. I do not like black, and prefer a print to plain. I love green and blue.
Anyone got any ideas? I've looked at Hobbs, Kaliko, Monsoon, Coast, Karen Millen and House of Fraser but either I don't like anything or it's not long enough to cover the knees.
I'm prepared to pay up to maybe £150  if it's a really ncie dress I can use for occasions in future.
Thanks!!

Asos has a good selection, a lot of them for less than £150.

I didn't say that. I said 'a posh dress with sleeves that covers knees' and the use of 'covers' indicates I was referring to the the dress as in 'the dress covers'. In order to be referring to the sleeves I would have had to use 'cover', as in 'the sleeves cover'.
If you are going to be snarky, make sure your grammar is up to scratch.
As for the others, thanks for the suggestions, I have multiple tabs open right now and am working through them!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I wasn't being snarky. It was simply a poor attempt at humour following a quick glance at your (grammatically incorrect) thread title.0 -
can you get a jacket/bolero/shrug/cardigan/whatever you call it to cover shoulders and wear over any dress that fits the brief for being long enough? i've once been somewhere where shoulders and knees had to be covered, and that was what most people wore. there should be a lot of mid calf length stuff out there at the moment.:happyhear0

for the sleeves, could you wear long arm-length gloves? Something like
or a lace? equivalent of the 'fake tattoo sleeves' you can getA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Have a look at Damsel in a Dress. I know they are quite expensive, but they are a bit different and there are some sale items . I've tried a few of them on and they are always a good length even though I'm 5'8"

John Lewis sell them.
Have you had a look at Phase 8?

For a really posh dress I would always go to David Nieper. http://www.davidnieper.co.uk/separates/dresses.htmlÆr ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0
