How do I repair my close in internet explorer?

When I use internet Explorer most times when I closed (red cross) keeps going into "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We Sorry for the inconvenience". Um, how do I re-pair this problem?.

If you use IE7, uninstall it in Add or Remove Programs - this takes you back to IE6. Reboot & reinstall IE7 (to download if required click here).
If you use IE6, try an IE-repair. G
