BMI baby cancelled 1 of my flights, can I get a refund on the other?

I booked my outbound and inbound seperately as I was going around Europe so was going to land in Paris but fly out of Amsterdam. What are my chances on getting a refund for the Paris flight seeing as they cancelled the Amsterdam one? They say no refund if personal circumstances change but I figure that shouldn't include them cancelling one of my flights. However I don't fancy the premium rate number on my mobile if I'm likely to get a straight no.

I would call them, I've just successfully cancelled both my outgoing flights with them as the returns have been withdrawn by bmibaby. It was no problem at all to have all the flights fully refunded (but I had it all on one booking reference to begin with).

Looks like I was being a bit too quick to ask. I received a second cancellation email for the other one around half an hour ago. Very happy to not have to call them. Thanks for the replies though
