Knoll House Hotel, Dorset - Any experiences?

Hi all,
We are looking for a family holiday which our two young children (aged 2 yrs and 6 months) will enjoy, and which will give myself and my partner a bit of a break. The Knoll House Hotel sounds absolutely perfect, but i'd love to hear other MSEers opinions, and any hints and tips.
Have any of you been there with similarly young chidren? Did you feel comfortable leaving the children in their room whilst going for dinner? And could you keep them entertained during the day? Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
