Barclaycard

I applied for a Barclaycard about a month ago and they said at the end of the application they needed to check a few things and would be in touch. I have only just realised it has been much longer then the two weeks they said it would be so do I take it they refused my application as they haven't been in touch? O could they of tried and it has not reached me? Do I need to call them or is this a waste of time and money?

It may be a waste of time and money but I am sure you can find a freephone number for them to save the money bit and the call would be 5 minutes of your life at tops (assuming you dont call during lunch hour etc).

Presumably they have tried to contact you but it has gone astray for some reason
