Lib Dems to Blame for Con losses?

Yep - people seem to think the country can go from spending 10% more than it earns to spending less than it earns (has to be less to actually pay back debt) by 'other people' living on less whilst they as 'hard working ordinary people' should not suffer any reduction in real income.I think people are fed up with being lied to by the Con'd-Libs.
They keep saying they want to help hard working families!
By reducing tax credits and putting millions into the 40% tax brackets is NOT helping families.
People will vote on what happens to their incomes because thats what feeds them.I think....0 -
I think Tories who think they are unpopular for not being Tory enough are deluded, people are quite happy to be bribed with their own money and Thatcher would have been a 1 term PM were it not for the Falklands.
Yes moving to the nasty right (zenophobic, homophobic etc) would short term mobilise a certain part of their base and stop nasty parties like UKIP picking off some voters but general elections are won from the centre not from mobilising a bigger base at the extremes and once a party gets a reputation as being 'nasty' a pre-election tack back to the centre will not be believed.I think....0 -
You know it's bad when this happens
And, in the capital's Pentland Hills ward, an independent candidate dressed in a penguin suit, named Professor Pongoo, came ahead of the Lib Dems.

Spot on! In 2007, 8% of GDP was money being added to credit card debts. People borrowing more to spend on designer frippery they did not need was interpreted as the economy booming. Complete and utter lunacy. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
