pscs payment from dwp

I do not receive benefits at all (I have in the past) but I have received a payment from DWP with the letters PSCS beside it. When I phoned the benefits agency they did not know what this payment was for or what the letters stand for. I wanted to pay this back and stop any more payments before they mount up but they didn't know how I could do this!! Normally you have to fight for money! Does anyone know what these letters could stand for and how I can stop the payments before this gets out of hand?

PSCS refers to a pensions payment. Are you of pensionable age?

Hi thanks for help. No I'm not a pensioner so I don't know why I am receiving this money and the DWP don't know either! So its a mystery. Obviously I am receiving someone else's money so I will try the DWP again.

Friend of mine who gets IB shows PSCS on their statement.

It used to say DWP LIB but now says DWP PSCS its for the same amount, so its clear its the same payment but for whatever reason they paying it under a different label.
