Car Park Signage

Thought I'd show a couple examples of UKPC signage that I think are fairly typical of the unenforcible parking charges levvied on unsuspecting motorists. Unfortunately, as a newby, I can't post the links to Flickr and I don't know how to insert the actual images here. So, if you'd like to view them, the set of 3 photos on Flickr is called UKPC Signage.
Feel free to visit, read then rip them to shreds.

We can see it if you post a 'broken' link (just take off the http:// from the start of each link and we will add it back).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Blue badges must be displayed. Ha ha!
And you can only park cars in parent and toddler bays if the cars contain babies or toddlers. So presumably you can't take them with you into the supermarket? And what is the definition of a 'toddler'? I had a few beers last night and I was toddling a bit, not sure if that counts?Je Suis Cecil.0 -
I fail to see how a line of type a few mm high many feet up in the air would be adequate enough to inform anybody of any restrictions.
If 2 hours are free, you might expect any subsequent hours to be in the region of a pound or two an hour.
It's no coincidence that the £70 is as small as possible.
A clear breach of the BPA Code of Conduct, but we all know the BPA don't expect anyone to follow it or punish any company that breaches it.0 -
I didn't think there was anything in the BPA code restricting how small the lettering should be. As Martin Cutts demonstrated.Je Suis Cecil.0

15.2 You must give clear information to the public about what parking activities are allowed and what is unauthorised.0

That's woolly though, and open to interpretation. Again, as Martn Cutts found out!Je Suis Cecil.0

Are Highview and Ukpc linked then?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
