Asda frozen food mega bargains (updated)

  • In the asda at Peterlee they had bags of micro chips down to 25p, frozen bags of sweetcorn or diced onions reduced down to 50p, frozen amanda smith deserts down to £1.00 and chocolate praline pavlova down to 89p but when you take these to the till they are actually only 50p and if you buy 2 you get a multibuy off at 54p so you get two large deserts for only 46p. I think they are making room for new lines or new packaging.

Well I grilled me burgers last night on the BBQ and they were just fine!! If you don't like burgers you don't have to buy them. But for those that like an occasional burger they, were just fine. Personally I would prefer to put a 16oz steak on the grill, but not always in my budget.
Having been a butcher in times past, it would be fair to note that both Burgers, sauages, black and hogs pudding, haggis etc, were created to use up all the meat left over after the prime cuts were trimmed. They are supposed to be full of crap. That's what makes them tasty. The alternative is to buy an Anthony Worrel-Thompson burger at his restaurant in London for £10.95p each.

I wonder how many Chemicals and hormones my 20lb turkey for £9 has in it today.... as if I care

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
The reason for the discount is that Asda are removing 120 line items to replace them with 120 new line items. An assistant told me this in the Dunfermline branch.

I tried to get some burgers but John Selwyn Gummer was there buying them all for his daughter...............

Asda often do a large Whoops clearout just before a Bank Holiday closure but you gotta be patient to get the biggest reductions (over 75% off).

Bournemouth (St Pauls) had a variety of reduced frozen tonight including

Bacon, Cheese and Beef burgers at 25p
    Diced Onions 50p
Garlic Portions (ice cube sized) 50p
    Micro Chips 25p
Aunt Bessie's Toad in the Hole 99p
Aunt Bessie's Mashed Swede and Carrot about 55p
Weight Watchers ice cream 4 tubs of Strawberry Swirl - half price.
Dalepak Califlower Grills (with 50% extra free) half price

So pays to keep an eye out in those frozen aisles a wide selection of stuff being cleared out.

I've just been to my local asda and noticed that they were selling their chocolate praline for 50p instead of £1.77 so bought 2 not realising they must be on a multiby so got 54p off so I only paid 46p for the two fantastic. Don't know if this is local or nation wide.
    Waddle you do eh?
