Asda frozen food mega bargains (updated)

Asda had boxes of 4 beef and cheese quarter pounders at only 25p a box. (frozen)They were originally £1.48p but the shelf label said 25p and thats what they were. I had 24 boxes of course! Don't know if it's regional? Also BBQ frozen wings for £1 a large box. Firing up the BBQ tonight (ASDA St Austell, Cornwall)

Are these their own brand ones? I remember these being the worst things I have ever eaten. Tasted like sawdust (which I wouldn't be surprised if was contained in them!)

Hang on a minute. Not all bargains are healthy ones, or to everybody's taste. Does that mean they shouldn't be posted? 25p for four quarterpound burgers sounds good value to me!

This is a money saving website - not a healthy eating one, and I don't think people should be deterred from posting helpful tips for fear of being criticised

A bargain is only a bargain if its worth more than you are paying for it..those burgers aren't worth tuppance never mind 25p

Well said Addy some people just lurk the boards and pop up with snide comments about deals not suited to them, it only serves to discourage people from posting and we all lose out in the end we just don't get to know about it because after posting and getting a slating they just don't come back.

Thanks op I personally won't be buying any because the missus has banned me from buying anymore burgers or sausages as the freezer is full of them but you keep looking and keep posting because some of us out here appreciate your effort.

Good post m8! If any of the "healthy" knockers can find a box of 4 quarter ponders for less than 25p please post so us "unhealthy" couch potatoes can have a little feast!

I would bet all of you have had a burger at some point in your adult life. Veggies not included.
