Just missed out on a deal for our anniversary this weekend, any ideas?

So disappointed, we hesitated on a good deal for a great hotel we've been to many times - Four Pillars Cotswold Water Park and we've missed out on the deal. A few hours ago the website was offering DBB for 3 nights this weekend (Fri - Mon) for £316 for the two of us - we've been before on DBB packages and its always been fantastic. The offer has disappeared off the website and both myself and DH have phoned the hotel but all they're offering now is B&B and its more expensive than the DBB deal! They're not budging on this at all and for this price its not worth it.

We're on the look out for somewhere else similar for Fri - Mon and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for us. Its also our 1st wedding anniversary so we do really want to get away somewhere. We live in West Hertfordshire and are willing to drive a couple of hours or so. We can afford up to £350 for the 3 nights DBB and would be looking for somewhere nice where we can just have dinner, a few drinks and just chill out, somewhere with a nice pool and spa facilities similar to the hotel we wanted would be ideal.

If anyone can recommend anywhere good for us that would be great, otherwise its a rainy weekend at home with a bottle of Blue Nun on our anniversary :(

Have a look on eBay for cottage rentals, there are some great last minute deals. I've just been looking at a cottage in Anglesey for the weekend and it's £70 a night and sleeps 4.

I have to agree, we put our cottage in the North York Moors on ebay for last minute and cancellations, they usually do well however things are slow at the moment as everyone's money is tight, therefore we are discounting quite heavily.
We have availability this weekend and give all our guests something slightly better than 'a bottle of blue nun'!!!
We have no spa sadly but the pub is just around the corner and they will do breakfast for our guests if required, takeaway fish and chips and superb evening meals......does this mean we are a full board self catering holiday cottage??
PS this weekend is now reduced to £240
please contact me if you are interested our website is located with my username.
