Anyone else had problems sending PPI forms recorded delivery?

Hi there,
Over the past couple of months I have sent 4 letters recorded delivery to Santander regarding my PPI claim.
However, only 2 have arrived! The other 2 just say that they are progressing through their network for delivery, this is 6 weeks ago they were sent.
Does this mean they are lost? Is it worth claiming for them not turning up?
What's annoying is it's just delaying the process even more.
Should I just send the forms off again or try a phone call to them instead? Do Santander take PPI complaints over the phone?
Any advice would be greatly received.

You complain to Royal Mail, not Santander about that - although it is more likely that they just did not bother to get them signed for.

Why not go here and do it online?

Remember to keep copies before submitting the complaint.

My first questionnaire to Capital One is still in the postal system since the end of March. I re-sent it at the end of April and I received a very prompt standard reply. Then the next day I received another letter saying they were sorry I had needed to contact them again, which makes me think that either they had not signed for my first one and it had taken a month to get onto the system; or they had sent out the standard response to my second one and then after this someone had actually read the last comments page where I had said it was the second time I had sent it and then sent out the apology letter.

It's really annoying because the Post Office don't look for lost recorded letters.
