This is a bit confusing.
I've got a case showing in my resolution centre
"Item: New iPad 3rd Generation *BLACK* 64GB Wi-Fi + 4G !Factory Unlocked! MD368LL/A ( 330703490354) View purchased item"

I've never placed any bids on this item.

It then says
"eBay

03-May-12 at 21:09:38 BST

This case has been opened by the seller with the following reason: Buyer's payment hasn't been received or hasn't cleared. Additional information provided by the seller: My bank has voided this transaction as fraudulent after they talked to the owner of the credit card used."

I've no idea what's going on here but it all looks a bit odd. Maybe my account has been compromised?

What should I do?
Happy chappy

I cancelled the item. Seems to have sorted the issue.

OK, firstly try to sort out ebay and paypal and make sure nothing else has happened. Then get over to the techie board and get them to talk you through a thorough deep clean on your PC to see if there is anything nasty lurking.

    Have you spoken to ebay?

What have they said about it?

You sure that the first mail you responded to was not the spoof, because they do that, if you don't see your name in the ebay message, it is because it is a fake, and they are stealing your password.

They make you log in, and you send them your password.

I haven't responded to any emails. It's all via the Ebay website.
