Help! I'm now an adult

My daughter is now 18 and I want to move a variety of small unit trusts that have been bought for her over the years to fund her university. These are all held by the trust providers, some in "nomiated" accounts some under her parents names. I want to put these all in one place to help her manage them, ideally some shold go into an ISA wrapper if this is possible to reduce any future tax - if they last that long.
Any helpful ideas would be great.

A good start maybe is to go here:

They will consolidate all you holdings for you and give you some commission back. There are other IFAs who do similar.

For those in her parents name I imagine they would need to arrange a stock transfer. I did this recently with my holding in a Fidelity fund. The people holding the investment should be able to send the necessary form for completion. They could not do an ISA retrospectively. Anybody age 16 and over has an ISA allowance each year so £7000 could be an ISA for this year if it's done before the end of the tax year. Then the same for next year. I am putting away £3000 each year for my grandchildren for university fees but it is in their names. This is the maximum I can gift tax free. You may need to gen up on the tax implications.
