In the bin, in teeny tiny pieces.

Do you actually need to ask this? What do you do with the rest of your waste paper?

Shred in a cross-cut shredder, burn, put the ashes in a pestle & mortar with a spoonful of rock salt and pound into a fine dust, then flush down the toilet.

    Or

    Throw in the recycling bin.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

    After shredding.

Why? It might have your name and address on it but what is the risk of someone getting hold of this?

Must admit I have wondered about his myself. Our names and addresses aren't much of a secret and are probably traded via mailing lists for a fraction of a penny each.

However, I suppose it's good to get people in to the habit of shredding stuff that can identify them; and it may be possible to put together several items from a rubbish bin to form some useful info.

I doubt much fraud relies on the contents of our bins. Their are much easier and cleaner ways to do it. :rotfl:

It may be an urban myth, but it has been reported that homeless people in London are paid to go through rubbish looking for anything of interest.

It is certainly a good idea to get into the habit of shredding, although it probably is overkill in most cases.
