When i reported a hit & run driver to my car many years back the policeman on the desk said i had broken the law for not reporting it withing 24 hours.

Ask me if i was sure i wanted to report it. I insisted YES.. how could i report something i knew nothing about until now.

Go and report it properly now. Its in your best interest.
