House purchase back on! But...

OK, in the continuing saga of me trying to buy my first flat, so far taken over 5 months, which the seller pulled out of last week, she is back on again now as the seller of the flat she wants finally let her plumber in to view the boiler.

We should be (I use this phrase lightly) exchanging at the end of the week.

But they want to move on or around 30th March. If i wait til the end of the month I lose all of my annual leave ( 15 days) - which I have been saving for over 5 months. I can't carry it over and I can't get paid for it as I would have been able to take leave - only been saving it for move and has been my choice to do so. I obviously didn't think I'd still be sitting here after March!

Baring in mind that my seller is not the most stable, do I swallow the loss of my precious leave in case she pulls out again?

Or do i say no, I am looking to move a good week or two weeks before that.

I've been tiptoeing around this woman for MONTHS! But i do really want the flat.

Advice please? What would you do?

I'd ask if there was anyway completion could be moved forward, but I wouldn't be too pushy, she's obviously a bit volatile!

If they can't/won't move earlier then exchange contracts, enjoy a bit of peace and quiet before moving day and get all your boxes clearly labelled so you at least know what is where, even if you can't unpack at complete leisure.

When you move in, the big stuff just gets plonked on the floor and it looks like your place immediately, even if other things aren't how you'd like them :)

Ask your employer if you cant move the days till next month, explain your situation.. I've done this in the past (although not 15 days), and they have been fine about it.
