how to attach foto to post on here?

I want to attach a foto from 'my fotos' to a post on here, how would I do it please? I can see the only icon available is 'insert image' but then it says enter your URL. what's that mean? I can't see how to do it. or maybe It can't let you add a photo? I am confused now.

To my knowledge you can't. Images use an awful lot of webspace. However you could always host the image on a 'free website' and put the URL on here.

Thanks for reply stebiz! I thought as much....however I tried to use the foto as my avatar, and it 'failed to upload' so obviously takes too much room up! Also I don't know what URL means?

URL is the web address http://. Upload the photo to an image host like Imageshack or Photobucket. If it's a large photo, post a thumbnail (small version) which links to the large photo. I know that Photobucket has a simple click for getting the thumbnail code to add to your forum post.
