    I have one and it's great! You can get them from some plumber's merchants in uk. If you connect it to a thermostatic valve it's even better!

    I think they have them in Asian countries because its part of the muslim religion to clean there after going to the toilet.

    However, I personally found it disgusting, because Id go in toilets in flip flops and there would be water all over the floor - with god knows what in it - touching my bare feet!

    At least with a normal bidet you could sit on it, but a hose thing is just not good! Maybe if you had one in your own house youd be more careful with it and not spray it everywhere though?

    In asian countries I've seen people use it to hose the floor down plus they usually have it on full blast (high pressure) which may explain the flooding!

    Maybe - but what about before someone has hosed the floor down? Like say if they were cleaning it every 2 hours or whatever.

    It made me feel physically sick at the thought of what my feet were touching!

    What do you mean? The shower hose is held in your hand to spray. It's not supposed to touch and private parts?
