Entry Process and Requirements
Entry is open only to United Kingdom residents aged 18 and over at the date of entry. Employees and agents of the Promoter or any company associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter the competition, as are members of their families or households.
The Promotion commences on 3 May 2012 at 00.01, and ends at 23:59 on 23 May 2012. The Promotion consists of a series of three separate consecutive Competitions. The Factual Competition shall commence on 3 May 2012 at midday, and ends at 23:59 on 8 May 2012. The Comedy Competition shall commence on 10 May 2012 at 00:01, and ends at 23:59 on 15 May 2012. The Drama Competition shall commence on 17 May 2012 at 00:01, and ends at 23:59 on 22 May 2012. All entries to each Competition must be received by the above closing times and dates and late entries (for whatever reason) will be invalid. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt
To register for the Promotion, input your full name and email address in the online form reached via the website https://www.freeview.co.uk/thegenerositygame and the Freeview Facebook page, and submit the completed form. By submitting your completed form, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
One entry is allowed to each Competition per person per day (totalling a maximum of 6 permitted entries for each Competition). One additional entry is allowed on a particular day if the entrant has shared the Promotion with one or more persons via Facebook or Twitter on that day. If the Promoter discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that you have exceeded the maximum number of entries you may be disqualified.
To enter a Competition, you must submit a guess as to the minimum number of 18” helium balloons that the Promoter used to lift the designated object at least 5 cm into the air. You acknowledge that the aim of each Competition is to guess rather than to calculate the number of balloons required, and that such lifts were not conducted under scientifically controlled consistent conditions. Prizes

1. The Grand Prize in each Competition is as follows:
   1. Factual Competition: A private dining experience for 10 adults at the River Cottage, Devon to a value of £95 per person (not including extra drinks or service charges), and return coach travel for 10 people from London or another agreed location within 200 miles of Axminster; and the basket of food lifted by the balloons in this Competition.
   2. Comedy Competition: A visit to Edinburgh for two adults, consisting of return standard class train tickets from the winner’s nearest major train station to Edinburgh, two nights’ four star double or twin hotel accommodation in a standard room including breakfast, one three course dinner for two people (not including drinks or service charges) and £250 spending money; and the cake (or an equivalent cake) lifted by the balloons in this Competition.
   3. Drama Competition: A visit to Highclere Castle for two adults, consisting of return standard class train tickets from the winner’s nearest major train station to Newbury, one night’s four star double or twin hotel accommodation in a standard room including breakfast, one three course dinner for two people (not including drinks or service charges), two adult one day entry tickets to Highclere Castle, and its exhibition and gardens, and £250 spending money; and the tea tray items (or equivalent tea set) lifted by the balloons in this Competition.
   All other expenses and items not specifically mentioned in this paragraph are not included and must be met by the winner (including additional meals, beverages, mini-bar costs, telephone and internet charges, gratuities and insurance). Hotels and restaurants shall be as selected by the Promoter. Prizes must be taken and completed by 31 May 2013 and hotels and travel shall be subject to availability.
   In addition each Grand Prize winner will receive an Echostar HD digital television recorder and a Toshiba 40 inch LCD television and a variety of box sets.
2. The three runners-up in each Competition shall each receive an Echostar HD digital television recorder (“Runners-Up Prizes”).
3. Ten prize draw winners in each Competition shall receive one box set of British television show DVDs (“Box Set Prizes”).
