I'm hoping someone will be in the same boat as me and have some advice. I have recently put in a PPI claim direct with CITI. 1 Week later I recieve a letter from CITI telling me my loan has be sold to Britannica!!! Does anyone have any idea of where I stand with this claim? Any advice is welcome. Regards C

You need to contact Brittanica if they have bought the loan from Citi, they have taken over the debt.0

There is nobody called Britannica on the FSA register.
However, presumably the complaint is about the sale of PPI, not the loan itself.
If Citibank sold the PPI to you then they must answer the complaint. However, if you did not actually purchase from Citibank then you do need to go to the original intermediary.
FOS would seem an appropriate port of call in the first instance.0
