Iphone insurance separate policy or go on contents insurance?

Recently got an iphone 4s and looking to get insured, is it best to do this on a separate policy or include as part of contents insurance? (am in rented) I don't have contents as moment.
So do I have 2 separate policies or one policy which would cover the phone?
Any advice / recommendations of providers would helpful.
Thank you

It will be cheaper to cover it via your home insurance and often the cover is better but firstly check the excess - home tends to be higher than phone but you can reduce it by increasing premiums. Secondly if you make a claim it then affects your whole home policy and not just the phone. Finally your home insurance will not cover breakdown where as some phone policies include an extended warranty element.0
