How can £419.99 not be the market value when that is exactly why it is being sold for in the example.
secondly it does qualify for the £75 cashback as STATED ON THE PAGE
Thirdly it does qualify for the trade up scheme IT IS LISTED ON THE PAGE
everything posted is true and doable I have just done so myself and I have had the money back from the previous scheme posted last year which only finished with the end of the financial year.
This site is a JOKE!!!
Market price is not the offer price, but the price at which someone is willing to buy it.
You can offer to sell your Ford Escort for £500,000, but that doesn't mean that it is the market price for a Ford Escort.
Would you pay £419.99 for that machine?
The links on the Misco website simply did not work.
But I have found a link that indicates that it is a Misco only deal. Here is the link for interested parties.
So, the deal is that you pay £420 for a relatively outdated machine and have to wait at least three months to get £75 back and also has to give them a fully working branded machine of yours and wait a similar amount of time to get up to £100 from that.
Wasn't it you who wrote that having to add RAM to a newly bought machine was an imposition??
Here you are advocating a fairly complicated and slight risky transaction(in the case of a failing component of your TradeIn) in order to buy a particularly unremarkable and outdated machine. Irony indeed.0 -
Perhaps you could learn to READ it's the LAST one in the list under HP 600 series, UNBELIEVABLE!!! Good God I really just can't believe you've just picked a small selection of models from the site to try and make your point deliberately to make me look like a liar. Seriously poor show!!!
Calm down Rich44. The list from which you quote is for T R A D E I N S, not CashBack.0 -
As has been said this offer runs now and again and i have done it 3 times. As long as you stick to t&c's then no problem although don't expect to see your money for a good 3 months...
This one applies for both..

This has good specs and looks worthwhile for those wanting a smaller screen.
£500 minus £125 minus £100. £275 is good if you have a suitable machine to Trade In.0
