Nu Swift

Options
A warning to any companies using Nu Swift to provide fire extinguishers in their work place. I have recently, reluctanctly, paid an invoice which included 2 water extinguishers at £332 each. You can buy them for around £30! When I rang to complain I was told they are made in Yorkshire - hence the high price!

It reminds me of that episode of the IT crowd where Moss is trying to put out a fire. The extinguisher doesn't work and he goes "why doesn't this work???" Then he looks down and the Fire extinguisher says "Made in Britain"

Surely you (or whoever is responsible for their procurement) would have checked the price first before ordering?!?

    That would be too sensible

This sounds like less of a problem with Nu Swift (albeit they're clearly shysters) and more of a problem with the procurement department. Why didn't you get quotes first??
