Power flue gas fire - drafts?

I've recently had a new gas fire fitted, the power flue type which allows us to have an open flame without a chimney. BUT I'm finding the room seems colder (apart from when its on, obviously  ), I can feel a cold draft when I put my hand near it, is this normal? Or should I get the fitter back to check it out, its only a fairly small draft but still.
Does anyone else have one or know about them please?
Thanks!

We have a legend power flue and its really bad (when its off) for a howling draught.
In the really cold weathe rthe whole thing and the fireplace get covered in condensation as the external air blows through is so cold! Our solution that works is: we place cling film across the whole front, and tape along the edge with masking tape. When the fire guard is in place it doesnt look too bad, but at least the room isn't draughty.
I'd never have this type again!0
