I have noticed a lot of property "for sale" in the last 3 months or so.
I know a lot were "to let" earlier but usually at prohibitive rates unless you could get housing benefit to pay.
The housing benefit boards have been limited so is this why there are more for sale? or is it because the home owners are anticipating much higher falls and are trying to get out now before the Greek, Spanish and Italian problems in Europe ripple out to the housing markets here?
Another contender is the estate agents trying smoke and mirrors to give the impression that the market is on an up by telling owners to go on the market (not to sale) but to see what demand there is.?
