Silly question, but what determines if i pay taxes with ryanair?

today i checked a flight i have been looking at for some time, and i dont pay taxes for the outgoing journey - whereas every other day i checked i have?

any ideas?

Dunno.

Ryanair's analysis of total costs for their flights doesn't really relate much to 'actual costs', best to just look at the 'total cost' and what truly optional add ons you can do without and
always double check with https://www.skyscanner.net for other airline prices.

Sometimes they do deals in which they pay the taxes for you, sometimes they don't.

If it's on your chosen date you are a winner.

Ryanair will offer some "tax free" fares which, in essence, mean that you don't pay the tax and get the cheap fare. (I've paid £1 for a flight before even though there is a compulsory APD of £10).

In reality, Ryanair passes this cost onto other passengers who will pay more than you for a seat on the same plane, depending on when and how they book.
