Is eating out getting cheaper? Great deals

Over the last six months I have been able to find some great deals for eating out in local pubs. We like a meal out when the kids are at school and nursery so finding cheaper ones so we can do it more often is great.

This is superb, can anyone beat it?

Before 5pm, Monday to Saturday, you can buy one meal from just £5.50 and get another for just £1 at The Three Brooks. Lunch for £1 can be bad, right! There are classic and tasty favourites to choose from in our latest great value daytime deal;

Fish & Chips - £6.50
Lasagne - £5.50
7oz Gammon & Eggs - £6.95
Chicken Tikka Masala - £6.95
Cajun Chicken Salad - £6.95
Roasted Root Vegetable Pie (v) - £6.95

Have used this many times now and with 2 drinks have had a bill of 12 pounds!

Have also just been to a pub less than half a mile away that we previously went to regularly called the Bradley stoke. They have matched the deal with an entire 2 for 1 menu and my bill came to almost exactly the same.

I am also finding quite a few pubs where two can eat with two drinks for under 15 pounds. Another well worthy of a mentions is Racks bar and grill Clifton Bristol and their 5 pounds lunch menu.

All of the places I have mentioned here serve very good quality food too, never had a bad experience

- I've used it in Prezzo, Pizza express and Coast 2 Coast (I didn't think they accepted it but in for a penny!)

Round my way, on three evenings a week, there's a choice of about 8 meals from their board for just £2.50 each. That's a deal one person alone can finally use.... can't beat that.
