general query re overdrafts

Was just looking for some general advice really.
With Halifax overdrafts, if you were to have a generally not great credit rating (but on the rod t recovery) and applied for a larger overdraft and it was granted, it this reflected in your credit worthiness.
ie does it mean your credit rating is getting better or does it mean nothing, is it just internal?

Not sure, as you would have more available credit/used credit v your income. I would have though a small OD reported as up to date on the CRAs would be as good as a large one.

If you are already with the bank then they most likely wont go out to the CRAs but base their decision on how your account has been running.
