Lloyds TSB Credit Card question

Hi - this is on behalf of hubby!

He has a LLoyds TSB card which he has had for over 12 years. He was paying PPI on this and has asked on at least 2 occasions for it to be removed and it hasn't!

Until last year, when the PPI thing hit the fan and then hey presto, Lloyds stopped charging him PPI.

My question is that due to some problems with our bank, he is a little over his limit and is due to pay this off by the end of May. Will Lloyds look at a claim regarding PPI whilst he is over the credit limit on his card? We don't bank with LLoyds any more and the reason he is over is because a payment we sent via CHAPS has gone "missing"!

Thanks for your help

    Hello there

It does not matter if you no longer bank with them, you can still make a reclaim on the PPI if mis sold, or otherwise ask if you can reclaim the ppi you paid until cancellation from the time you first requested the cancel, as they should have done so when you requested for this.

Anyone owed to the card, the money is normally refunded to the account, anything remaining should come back to you (hubby), plus relevent interest.

To make a reclaim, you simply complete a reclaim questionnaire, you will find the same questionnaire on here as on their website below, and send to the address shown on their website, remember to save a copy for yourself as well, good luck.
