MBNA PPI - No refund letter received

Back in 1998 i got a credit card,ticked the box for PPI after not being told anything about PPI but hey ho, A year later i tried to cancel the PPI in a phone call only to be told i had to have a zero balance - which i didnt! again a few years later i tried again to be told the same thing. I contacted MBNA of course who have no records of me calling !! and have now sent my final letter with a NO refund so what do you think my chances are with the F.O ? shall i give it a go ? it is my word aginst there's i never wanted it, never needed it!! argh :mad:
