Hi,

I sent a letter to my bank, with the threat of court action. As they did not respond to me. One day on they have !!!

They have offered a settlement, which is a £400 below what I asked for. Now I can't stop the legal papers now, and as the bank point out, I have actually included £55, that is outside the 6 years. Then again I have excluded £50 that they have charged me this month after my letter writting started.

Now I am not so concerned, about accepting the offer. But the legal action I have started, which apparantley can be stopped at a later date, with the lose of legal. But if the amount I have claimed for is wrong by this £55 (net difference of £5 if you include the current charges not claimed for) outside the 6 years, can this throw the whole action out?

Hopefully i have explained myself well enough!!! :)
