please help trying to uninstall game but cant.

hi
i have been trying all morning to uninstall a game my daughter likes playing on the computer to reinstall it as it will not play, i have done the usual going into add remove programmes, but it wont remove "uninstall shield" comes up and says the log file C;/program blah blah blah valid data corrupted uninstall will not continue, when i try starting the game i get runtime error. this is a disney game and the website is of no use all i can do is phone technical support on an 0845 no. hope this makes sense.
if anyone can help. using windows xp.

Have you simply tried installing the game without uninstalling first, it may be able to repair whatever's been corrupted?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
