UK Digital Satellite Scam

Good Morning. Around a Year ago I was foolish enough to be caught out by a Cold caller from UK Digital Satellite calling about my Sky Warranty coming to an end and why I should take out a policy with them. Now I was lead to believe that they were affiliated with Sky as they knew the packages I had and how long I was a customer with Sky. After I found out they were a scam and in no way were affiliated with sky and they were actually totally useless if something did go wrong I immediately wanted to cancel my Contract with them. Here lies my problem, for me to cancel my contract with them I have pay for the remaining Contracted Months, which I may add has gone up from £5 to £10 a Month, I was also not told about the increase in the cost only the supposed, 'upgrade' to my Contract in a letter.
What can I do to get rid of these con artists? considering I was mislead over the phone? What can I do to get rid of these people? I know I was a complete and utter fool for falling for this

So sorry to hear you have been misled into a contract by a cold caller, any contract made by cold calling must also be backed up with a written contract within i think 14 days,so that you have the cooling off stage where it can be cancelled, sadly i see you done this a year ago, so read the contract and see how long you have signed up for?how many remaining months left on the contract?0

Next Month, but I'm reluctant to hand over any Cash to them and have already ready cancelled direct debit payments to them. What rights do? Considering it's only a warranty and not physical goods that have been used? or is it down to the T&Cs? which I add I was told of.0

If you only have one month left i'd opt to let it go,cut your loses perhaps vent your feeling to trading standards as the more complaints they get about a certain company the more they will look into their selling practices.
Have you read the terms and conditions on the contract? were you given a written contract?0 -
Simple thing to do,cancle your direct debit & next time they call, tell them you are reporting them to Sky as they are not a Sky Affiliate,Sky only use Domestic & General for the repair plan & are interested in hearing of scam companies like these.0

Just cancel the DD - the contract was mis-sold due to their act of decelption."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
