The Miracle Boy

Options
Up until this weekend I was all for doing what ever it took to pay my mortgage off early. So what's changed?

Lifes changed, after seeing the local news and the events that left a 8 year old boy the only survivor of a car accident made me stop and think!

Is the really that important, I have a beautiful wife and a 20 month old son so what if I owe the bank money at least I can enjoy it.

Unfortunately accidents do happen and it is apart of daily life but this little boy does not understand that nor can he understand why he's just lost his immediate family that included his mum, dad and two younger brothers. Now try putting yourself in his shoes.

Have a look for yourself http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/6419399.stm and if you feel touched like me then the air ambulance that treated the little boy have set up a fund rising web site found at http://www.justgiving.com/miraclefund where EVERY PENNY will go to the little boy and his family.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a registered charity (Reg No 1084305)

I have no connection to this family or the ambulance service but feel I can at least spread the word and try and help this dreadful situation.

Please please please do the same and pass this link on to others!

Otherwise please add a comment to keep this appeal near the top of this forum.

YAA is a vital service relying on donations from the general public. i have donated a reasonable amount in the past and will do so in the future.

terrible story, that as the OP states can happen to anyone at any time. makes you stop and think.

    give what you can.

    stay safe.

Many thanks pfpf for the words of support.

Money can in no way compensate for what has happen to poor Macauley but I'm only hoping it can help in some way.

Thanks to the many of you who have given what they can.

    Dave

    Update.

The original target by the air ambulance was to raise £1000 for Macauley.

As of this morning it currently stands at £14,458!

But don't let that stop anybody who still wants to donate because in this case every little really does help!
