Today is DG day - we have been planning on getting replacement double glazing for many years and today, they are supposed to be starting ........
I do have a few queries, however - such as the fact that our semi, has not got any lintels over the windows and I am concerned what will happen when the existing windows are removed !!!
Plus the loose bead insulation - that is going to spill out when the windows are removed
The weather worries me also !!
I just need some reassurance I guess ......

er, ask the window fitter?
window fitters like to do one job: fitting windows... and nothing else
dont be surprised if they take out the original (load bearing) windows and replace them with the dg units, with gaps above and unsupported brickwork (ive seen this done!!!!)

Windows (and new front door) expertly fitted
Superb job done
And if this site allowed it - I would highly recommend the small local company who carried out the work .....0
