Egg cashback - where has it gone?

I checked my statement a couple days ago and noticed my cashback has gone right down to the current month's spend. I thought it's now been credited to my account. I checked my current account and egg card, but nothing. Is it in the process of being transferred do you think? Anyone else in the same situation? Anyone had theirs?

Last year, the cashback was reset on my statement dated 18th April (transactions from 19th March,) and the cashback was credited on 30th March (i.e. the same statement.)

    Same thing with my account.
This month's statement has cashback for the period and year to date as the same amount (re-set).
I've sent secure message to them saying I know it should be credited in March (this is what the website says in the cashback section) but have asked why it (the previously recorded amount) has disappeared and when precisely it will be credited.
Will let you know when I get a response - unless the answer appears in this thread beforehand.

My statement is not due until 24th March and I am expecting cash back to be reset to zero and the past years cash back to be credited on the 31st March.
My Feb statement just told me I had reached my cash back limit.

It was working this morning when I did my 5 x £1.01 payments, and it's alive now...

Egg site - or bits of it -seems to be down quite a lot today.

Returning to original theme of the "missing" cashback, I was expecting my March statement to be the twelfth counting since the end of my last cashback year. Seems to me they may have changed the year end - and thereby catching out those who spend only enough in the year to get the minimum payable cashback of £5. Or, of course, it simply delays paying what cashback is earned in February 06 to the 08 payment instead of March 07. Perhaps I'm wrong or just paranoid?

Then again, maybe it's a way of confirming that the cashback scheme is continuing - as I recall it was only promised to run through to 2007. Yet again, if they stop the scheme but have to pay cashback earned to date, some low spenders will not have achieved the £5 minimum.

Had the following secure message this evening:

    Dear Customer

From the 7th March 2007, you?ll be able to see the cash back credited to your Egg Money Account. You can view this on your recent transactions where it will show as `280 adjustment?. It will then show on your April statement as `EGG MONEY CASHBACK?.

You?ll also notice that your cash back has now been reset and future cash back will count towards your next year?s total. If you need any further information about how cash back works, please refer to the `Frequently asked questions? area of our website.
