Posting abroad question

Selling a few things on Ebay and it's the first time i have put in my listing that i will post outwith the UK. I have someone asking me if i post to Malaysia and if so at what price. It is quite a heavy item, weighs 1300g unwrapped and is classed as a packet. What would i need to send it by to satisfy ebay and paypal if anything was to go wrong?

Personally, I'd tell them thanks but no thanks.

what the item is and the selling price may have a bearing on whether to send it or not?

my initial gut reaction is the same as above though, thx but no thx.
    Get some gorm.
  • I was kindof thinking that myself, its not an expensive item but it is very hard to find, i can't find anywhere else selling it. They have recently bought another item which was low value and from Malaysia but they don't have any feedback yet and they only registered last month. Upon looking at RM's site it looks like i would have to send it either international datapost or global priority to be tracked and the quotes start at £51  Not willing to take that kind of risk.

you should be able to send it by either international signed for or airsure for less than £20

As they have no feedback, tell them you won't be willing to deal with them.
