CC Balance transfer limits?

Have several credit cards, two have balances of 4k and 5k respectively. All spending down to a new business venture which needless to say has not been doing as well as expected given the economic downturn. I do have hope though
I wanted to transfer the balances on 0%, Ive done this before with no problem. My current deals have ended.
I have identified a card (or 3) I dont have and attempted to apply and transfer (even with just 1 balance) but all have been refused.
Most obvious things are in order. Perhaps my borrowing amounts are too risky? Bit confused, any help appreciated.

Hi
What are your total debts?
What is your income that you put on the application?
Is your business venture your only/main income? and if so are you putting on the application that you are self-employed and that the time in this self-employment is fairly short?
At a guess the potential lenders you have applied think you are too high risk and won't be convinced you can afford repayments on the debt based on your income.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks Tixy,
Total debts around 10k (but I have tried just transferring a much smaller balance). I have other income and yes I was being truthful in that Ive only been trading for a year.
Maybe I should revert to 'housemaker' as an occupation....I seemed to be more accepted then.0
