What's it going to cost?
This is just a game, for those that want to offer an opinion.
My T reg 1.7 Puma with 150k on the clock is having some over due TLC tommrow.
Having failed the MOT on only brake pads, (last 2 years it's needed welding.)
So whats going to be the total cost of, full service, front disks and pads, with fluid change, Cambelt with all the associated bits.
Done by a local independent.
PS the washer bottle is filled to the brim so I won't be paying for any blue water.

is it a fluid change or an irrigation of the pistons?
full service £95
discs and pads another £85
cambelt £125
so £315
and its not worth it:D0 -
Discs and pads £60 +£60 labour. Fluid change £40 Cambelt £200. Service £50 to £100. Drain and refill the washer, no charge. If you can get the lot between £400 to £500, you'll be ok. Cheaper is a bargain, but probably impossible. edit - full kit, water pump, anti freeze0

So the Cambelt was late to be delivered and they did not want to rush it, so back next week for that.
Labour £105, parts £124 including disks & pads £43 only thing stung on is plugs at £20.0
