What's going on with the BG site? I haven't been able to access the accounts page for days (to check that they STILL haven't corrected my wrong bills!!)

I tried half a dozen times yesterday and couldn't log on,but I have just managed to access my account a few minutes ago.

They do seem to have a lot of problems with that site.

Their website billing section has been having problems for years. It mainly used to be nightime when bills were not available, but it seems to have got steadily worse in the last 6 months or so, when they started to carry out "improvements".

Maybe they are trying to recover lost billing histories?
    or,
Cynically it could be something to do with improving their late payment fee income. ;)

Couldn't agree more - the website is quite easily the worst site it has been my misfortune to use.

I have 4 accounts(2xgas, 2xElectricity) and even when working it is impossible to switch between the 2 gas accounts or 2 electricity accounts; even though it shows them on the home page.

At least they have scrapped plans for the late payment fee.

Actually I switched to Ebico in February and I keep checking the BG site to see whether they've done anything about the final meter readings I, and Ebico, gave them. (They haven't!) How long will I have to wait to get my final bills?

Snap to Cardew, 2x2 too, except 2 no longer with BG

Snap to Jeannine too, changed 2 ( gas and leccy) to Ebico last July, and have been pleased with the way SSE have administered the accounts.

Further I am in process of changing my main 2 accounts to Ebico as well, but have waited for my dispute with BG,( hopefully the last) to be resolved.
Their (BGs) CS is no better than the website, and like the website, they "know about the problems", but nothing seems to improve. :rolleyes2
