Thank you very much. This was a 'nightmare scenario' which has been averted thanks to the giant strides in 'what is possible' under NHS medical/surgical advances. If this had not been done, pressure from collapsed intervertebral discs on to his spinal cord would have eventually caused such damage that he'd have lost all feeling below that level in his back. Not only lost the use of his legs but also bodily functions, as well as constant pain. As of this morning, he's sitting up, getting used to walking short distances again, able to sit in a chair for short periods at a time, home probably mid-week.
If all that had happened, I could not possibly have done all the physical care necessary at home! Even without the mental health issues. Only possible because we can have access free of charge to the very best developments and skills, and we pay for that from our taxes.[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Æ[/FONT]r ic wisdom funde, [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]æ[/FONT]r wear[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]ð[/FONT] ic eald.
