Hi,
Does anyone know how you back up Firefox Bookmarks as I am going to reinstall Windows but am unsure where the bookmarks are stored, many thanks!

Open Firefox
click on Bookmarks
click on file

make sure you stick them on a flash drive or email them to a yahoo / hotmail account to keep them off your PC for the re-install.

Just grab your whole profile.
It'll take some looking, but it usually resides in:
C:\Documents and Settings\## Your Username ##\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
It should be one of the folders within the above.
I'd also suggest, upon doing a re-install. Get Firefox installed, then go to:
Start (as in the button in the bottom left) > Run > then type "firefox -p" and press Enter.
This will bring up the Firefox profile manager. You can then import your old profile. I always like to keep my profile stored on a separate partition (or hard drive) to Windows. That way I know where it is, and it's safe if something happens to the Windows partition."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
