IBAN Transfer

Hey All,
Was just wondering how long it would take from an IBAN transfer from America to clear into a UK Barclays account.
They processed the refund on 24th April 2012.
They said ; " that it can take 1-2 billing cycles for the money to post to your account. "
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Normally 2 working days in my experience.0

Number of working days for funds to arrive (indication only): 3-4 for sterling or local currency to EU/EEA (not available for euros, see SEPA Credit Transfer below); 4-5 for the rest of Europe; 4-5 for North America; up to 8 for the rest of the world*
quoted from barclays website.
I would say its longer than 2 working days from experience0 -
Today is the fifth working day, based on that. But bear in mind that incorrect details, or a mess up on the part of the person sending it, could delay the funds. Barclays are unlikely to delay you receiving the funds for any reason.urs sinserly,

I stand corrected although in my experience, and we deal with a few hundred IBAN transfers (which is not any different to a normal SWIFT transfer via MT103 except that it quotes an IBAN and not the BIC/SortCode and Account number of old) per day and most can be sorted within 48hrs.
Then again we're not Barclays so I'd assume they are taking into account third party correspondents who will each add on their own 2 day agreement.0 -
It can take around 7 working days so keep checking your accounts and it will arrive0
