Wifi on the move - what do I need?

I have to move out of my house for a few weeks and need to get on the internet in the temporary accommodation.
I know I could get a prepaid usb wifi stick but I need my iPhone and iPad to be able to connect.
How would I go about this? My assumption is you put the usb stick in the laptop and the laptop can connect to the net, but what about the wifi part? Would I have to buy something else?
Thanks in advance.

I'd either go for the "Mobile Broadband USB Stick 615" from T-mobile, you can buy access to the internet for £2 a day, £7 a week or £15 month. You get 3gb of bandwidth and if you go over it they dont charge you any more but limit your connection speeds during peak hours.
You could then share the internet connection from the dongle by turning your laptop into a WIFI hotspot....
Alternatively you could try their "Wireless pointer"0 -

Ignore all the advice. You have everything you need with your iPhone (assuming you have a data plan)
Tether your device and your done.;0 -

Not assuming you have a data pack. it's assuming you have a tethering pack. The amount of data that would go through in a few weeks would easily overload a normal data plan, and make it quite obvious that it's being used for tethering. You then rely on the faith of your mob provider to either ignore it, or give you a warning.0
