Hi,
We bought a property in Orlando, you can see our villa on our website https://www.orlandodream.com
this is the best venture we have ever done and would certainly do it all again!
Give me a shout with whatever you want to ask!0 -
I have a property on the beach the other side i.e. Atlantic.
I do not rent it out.
Orlando has many properties in areas zoned for short term rentals(STR) and there is a demand for these properties from those visiting the attractions. There is not such a demand on either coast unless they are directly on the beach.
Prices have increased dramatically in the last year or two and, even with the strong Pound, you will have great difficulty covering your costs if you intend to rent.
Many of the newer areas - particularly condos - outside Orlando outlaw STR as the last thing permanent residents want is a succession of 'neighbours' in holiday mode.
Whatever you do, don't listen to the patter at some of these overseas property presentations - they border on the criminal.
Running costs are much higher than most people imagine, property tax(council tax) alone can be many thousands of dollars.
That said I'll be fishing on the beach on Friday!
Happy to answer any queries.0 -
